surprise!!

ok...so i'm still in shock that this even happened! december 1st, saturday, johnny and i had plans to meet our good friends josh and liz for dinner to celebrate my birthday because we had johnny's company christmas party on monday the 3rd. we picked up the sitter and on our way out the door johnny's cell phone rang and it was my dad asking johnny if he could come over and help give him a blessing. so we pull up to my parents house and i see my brother-in-laws car out front and i said to johnny, "is cory the one that is helping with the blessing?" johnny's like, "yeah, I guess." so we walk through the door and "SURPRISE!!" there stands a room full of family and friends, i had no idea, no clue, nothing! i immediately started to cry. (I know...big surprise.) i really was overwhelmed by all of those there that cared enough to make the party such a special time for me. johnny called my mom and sisters up a while ago and asked them to help him throw a party for me. they did such a beautiful job. the food was wonderful and the memories that everyone shared were lots of fun too. they hung up new kids on the block posters and everything! my sister mindy, put together a video of me from the time i was a baby till now and i will always treasure it. they had my friends and family bring a clue to stick in 30 different brown bags and as i opened each one, i had to guess the memory and who it was from. some i got and some i had to be reminded of but all of them were fun to reminisce about, even though some of them were embarrassing and i'm pretty sure some of those there that night were wondering what kind of person i really am. i just want to say thank you to my wonderful husband for the great time and for the constant love he shows to me. i also want my mom and sisters to know how grateful i am to them for all that they did for the party, i know it was a lot of work and time sacrificed. i love each of you more than you know!
